We launched Runaway Bar in 2021 with a vision of bringing a fun, unique and beautiful private bartending service to Southern Maine.

After many years of owning and operating popular restaurants in the big city, we knew exactly what we wanted to create with Runaway — a welcoming space with a great, friendly staff that guests would genuinely enjoy connecting with, a distinctive and stylish bar that stands out from the crowd, and a menu of elevated cocktails crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients and finished with a beautiful garnish.

We love planning a good party and even more, we love executing a fun time that takes the stress off the host. We are sticklers for details.

Runaway is an Italian Piaggio Ape (pronounced ah-pay) that we shipped to Maine and customized for bar service. She is small but mighty and can go just about anywhere, inside or out, to service up to 150 guests.

Whether it’s a backyard wedding with close family and friends or a black tie affair, Runaway Bar makes any special occasion memorable with her inimitable style.
